Buying at The Auction Yard
A public consignment auto auction in Peoria, Arizona. Dealers and the public bid together, every vehicle is listed with its check-in summary and AutoCheck report, and it is the only auto auction in Arizona where you can test drive a vehicle in the lot before you bid.
Test drive before you bid
Preview Monday through Friday, 10 AM to 4 PM. Pick up the keys at the office and drive the vehicle in our lot under the posted rules.

Every vehicle is listed with a check-in summary written on our lot and an AutoCheck vehicle history report.
Codes published before the sale
We scan each vehicle and publish the current diagnostic codes in the listing, so you know about a problem before you bid, not after.
Lowest fees in the Valley
A $150 admin fee per vehicle plus a buyer's premium of 10% online or 7% in person. No dealer fees and no documentation fees.
How Bidding Works
Four steps from preview to pickup.
Preview and test drive
Monday through Friday, 10 AM to 4 PM. Walk the lot, read the check-in summary and AutoCheck report, review the codes, and take a test drive.
Register to bid
Register online at LocalAuctions.com or at the office. A $300 refundable hold is required to bid. It is returned if you do not win and applied to your invoice if you do.
Bid live or online
Live sales Tuesday and Thursday at 5:30 PM and Saturday at 3:00 PM, in person in Peoria or online. A bid can be withdrawn before the sale closes by calling the office. Once the sale closes, all bids are final.
Pay and pick up
Payment is due by the next business day and vehicles must be picked up within three business days. Title paperwork is handled at the office. We do not offer financing, so have your funds arranged before you bid.
Fees
Published up front. These are the only charges on a vehicle purchase besides sales tax.
Backing out after winning costs a 15% restocking fee plus the $300 hold. Arizona sales tax is collected unless a valid resale certificate is on file. Vehicle fees are shown here; general merchandise and onsite sales list their own terms. See all buyer fees.
What to Expect
Sold as-is, where-is
Every vehicle sells in its current condition with no warranty, expressed or implied. Vehicles sold at auction are exempt from emissions testing at the time of sale.
Condition varies by vehicle
This is a consignment auction. Inventory ranges from clean, well-kept vehicles to units that need mechanical work, and bidding reflects that. The listing tells you which is which.
Inspect before you bid
Everything you need to judge a vehicle is available before the sale: the check-in summary, the AutoCheck report, the current codes, and a test drive in our lot. Once the hammer falls, the vehicle is yours as it sits.
