Use this checklist to evaluate slides, appliances, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and drivetrain. Our team is on site to help access systems during preview windows. Transparency is our thing—if something’s untested, it’s labeled clearly in the listing.
Slides & Awnings
Extend/retract; seals condition; manual override access.
HVAC
Roof AC cools? Furnace heat? Thermostat response.
Appliances
Fridge on electric/propane, stove/oven ignition, microwave.
Water Systems
Pump pressurizes; no obvious leaks; water heater; fixtures.
Electrical
House/chassis battery voltage; inverter/charger; shore power.
Generator
Starts/runs; hour meter; load test with AC or microwave.
Leveling
Hydraulic/electric jacks extend; manual stow procedure.
Tanks
Fresh/gray/black indicators; valve operation; residue signs.
Tires & Chassis
DOT date codes; tread; sidewalls; air bags; brakes feel.
Bring basics
Phone flashlight, paper towels, small tool kit, tire gauge.
Use hookups
Ask staff to connect shore power/water to test systems.
Read disclosures
Listings call out tested vs untested items and known issues.
Can I test drive?
When appropriate and safe, yes—ask staff on site for timing and route. License/insurance may be required.
What if a system can’t be tested?
We’ll mark it as untested. Bid accordingly and feel free to bring a tech during preview windows.
Do you provide ladders or roof access?
For safety, staff must assist. Ask at check‑in—conditions permitting.
